Europe’s leading manufacturer of flexible packaging film, SÜPER FİLM, took an important step towards growth targets with new machinery investments. The company have recently announced that it has invested in the 10.4 metre BRUCKNER 4th BOPP line and the 6th BOBST Metallizing machine. Thus it aims to become the ninth largest packaging film manufacturer in the world, except the Far East and America.

Founded in 1993 under the roof of SANKO HOLDING, SÜPER FİLM targets to increase its film manufacturing to 184 thousand tons per year and its metallized coating capacity to 35 thousand tons per year with its new investment while bringing its world ranking to the top.

The company currently exports to a total of 5 continents and produces 70 thousand tons of BOPP (bi-directionally stretched polypropylene) Film per year; 48 thousand tons of BOPET (bi-directionally stretched polyester) Film and 6 thousand tons of Cast & Barrier Film and Packaging Tape. Besides, while producing metallized films by coating aluminium with a capacity of 28 thousand tons per year for the films it produces; it gives different features such as high barrier and easy opening to the films produced in the special coating line with a capacity of 12 thousand tons per year. The company continues to serve its domestic and foreign customers with all these operations.

SÜPER FİLM aims to grow in exports

General Manager of SÜPER FİLM Fahri Özer reminded that the company exports to 5 continents, including Europe, America, Africa, Australia and Asia, and made the following statements regarding its new investment and growth targets:

“With our new 10.4 metre BRUCKNER 4th BOPP line and 6th BOBST Metallizing machine investments, we will increase the film manufacturing to 184 thousand tons and the metallized coating capacity to 35 thousand tons per year. With this investment, SUPER FILM will become the ninth largest packaging film manufacturer in the world, except the Far East and America”.

Choosing a different location for this investment, SÜPER FİLM aims to contribute to the qualified workforce as well as production reliability. Adopting the principle of “We will leave our world to future generations”, the company is among the leading companies in the sector with its works on recycled plastic films, packaging more products in less amount and recycling with mono structures.
