UV printing solutions expert Pigment Reklam will present innovative printing solutions to printing professionals at booth B20 in hall 12 at SIGN Istanbul 2021, which will be held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre on September 9-12. SIGN Istanbul, the industrial advertising and digital printing technologies fair, could not be held last year due to the pandemic, and is now preparing to host printing professionals and those who are curious about new technologies.

Pigment Reklam will participate in SIGN Istanbul 2021 with a 126 m2 booth, and has created a concept that increases the access of visitors to the solutions and applications on display. Representing the two important brands of UV printing, swissQprint and Plamac, in the Turkish market, Pigment Reklam will exhibit the innovations and sample products of these brands at the fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to see Plamac’s roll to roll printer in operation, as well as closely examine the backlit print works. Backlit prints, which are part of the booth concept, are expected to be the focus of attention of the visitors.

Pigment Reklam has brought important innovations to the market in neon colours and fluorescent prints recently. SIGN Istanbul 2021 visitors will be able to get detailed information about swissQprint’s neon inks and roll to roll UV printer Karibu S. The solutions developed by Metis for the 3D scanning processes used in the production and reproduction of the original works will be among the innovations that Pigment Reklam will offer as well.

Neon colour demos and backlit applications will be ready

Pigment Reklam Company Owner Serkan Çağlıyan reminded that direct contact with the market has not been realized for a long time due to the pandemic; “SIGN Istanbul will be our first face-to-face meeting with the market after a long time, so we are making our preparations very well. We look forward to meeting with the industry and revealing the opportunities that innovations will provide. We see a serious potential at this fair for a lot of investment decisions postponed due to the pandemic. Printers will be able to find the most suitable UV and eco-solvent printing solutions and more at Pigment Reklam for their growing business”.

Stating that the printers will be exhibited in working condition at the fair, Çağlıyan noted that the visitors will be able to see both the machine performance and the printing quality with their own eyes. Indicating that they will present especially different sample printing applications at their booth, Çağlıyan disclosed that there has been an increase in the demand for neon printing recently and that they have important solutions in this regard. Çağlıyan gave the following information about the demos produced with neon ink as well as other applications to be exhibited at the fair; “We are the first company to launch backlit prints in Turkey. At the fair, we will present our innovations on backlit applications, which have become widespread for both advertising and decoration purposes, to the visitors. Thanks to these prints, they will enjoy the exhibition at our booth”.

Çağlıyan said that they aim to meet professionals from all segments of the printing industry at the fair. Stating that they have solutions in the entry, middle and industrial levels, Çağlıyan continued his words as follows; “Pigment Reklam has been addressing the whole market since its establishment. Our main goal at the fair is to meet with companies looking for industrial solutions, develop joint projects and offer them special solutions. In addition to our UV and eco-solvent printing solutions, we address several different areas with our cutting machines, inks, software and 3D scanners. We focus not only on selling the lowest-priced products, but on providing machines that our customers can profit from while producing. Professionals visiting Pigment Reklam booth will definitely find a suitable solution for them”.

Investments will start again

Serkan Çağlıyan stated that although the investments came to a standstill during the pandemic, they continued to provide their services without interruption. Çağlıyan said that the signage industry was adversely affected by this process; “Unfortunately, the industry could not get the necessary support and suffered serious losses. Increases in exchange rates and interest rates also contributed to this negative process. Now is the time to act to compensate for them following renormalisation. Machine parks need to be renewed in order to be able to produce for the opened markets and to remain competitive. In 2021, industrial production came to the fore and UV printing technologies became more dominant in the market. With its high print quality, fast drying and superior durability, UV printing will be in greater demand in the coming period. That’s why this year’s SIGN Istanbul and later FESPA Eurasia fairs are of great importance. As Pigment Reklam, we will continue to offer the strongest support we can give to the printers by participating in both fairs strongly”.
